SHERIDAN GOLF:Come enjoy the golf capital of Wyoming! Move to Sheridan, Wyoming and you will be close to four championship golf courses: Powder Horn Golf Club, Sheridan Country Club, Kendrick Municipal Golf Club, and Buffalo Golf Club. The Sheridan Country Club is a 9-hole course that also offers 18-hole play with offset tee boxes. This course is open to the public and has mountain views throughout the course. The Kendrick Municipal Golf Course is an 18-hole course open to the public and is rated among the top 5 in Wyoming according to Golf Digest magazine. Beginners or those wanting to work on their game can use the practice facilities or take private lessons from a PGA instructor. Approximately 30 minutes south of Sheridan is the Buffalo Golf Club. This course is a lot of fun to play with several ups and downs in the terrain and mature trees through the course. The Powder Horn Golf Club is rated #65 on America’s Top 100 Modern Courses List. With three wonderful 9-hole courses to offer, Powder Horn is quite popular among locals and vacationers. The courses are currently open to the public, however, they may soon be available only to property owners.
